The financing challenges: 1) patients are aging and have multiple diseases at the same time (= more complex). 2) healthtech and medicines are becoming more effective and also more expensive 3) GPDR, cybersecurity, wage costs, ... increase costs. Solutions: 1) More public resources (= difficult in Belgium), 2) more private financing (= concern about 'same access to the same care'), 3) higher efficiency (= doing more with fewer resources) => Towards an #integratedcareorganization (primary care - secondary care - tertiary care) + 'bundled payments' and '#ValueBasedHealthcare.
