Internship Event Management
As an event management intern, you will support LAUREA’s project managers in the organisation of different learning experiences. You will support the project managers in various activities: preparing and summarizing project status meetings, liaising with suppliers, managing the project’s event e-platform (www.swapcard.com and www.b2match.com), … You should be available to start preferably early January until end of June 2022.
Specific projects you would work on:
A symposium targeting Belgian specialist doctors taking place end of June
A multi-day conference targeting employment and recruitment experts globally taking place in May/June
LAUREA’s own academy with a series of online meetings
Preferred hard skills
Being hands-on before, during and after an event
Project management skills
Technological proficiency (able to or willing to learn to work with website content management systems, e-mail marketing tools, social media (LinkedIn), …)
Event management (e.g. fairs; University events; camps)
Internship Marketing & Communication
As a marketing intern, you will support LAUREA’s project managers in the marketing of different learning experiences. You will develop and implement campaigns using different marketing channels (email, ambassadors, partners, LinkedIn). You should be available to start preferably early January until end of June 2022.
Specific projects you would work on:
A symposium targeting Belgian specialist doctors taking place end of June
A multi-day conference targeting employment and recruitment experts globally taking place in May/June
LAUREA’s own academy with a series of online meetings
The launch of a technology product: a learning management system
Preferred hard skills
Project management skills
Writing skills (copy-writing, storytelling)
Technological proficiency (able to or willing to learn to work with website content management systems, e-mail marketing tools, social media (LinkedIn), …)
Be able to create the strategic marketing-communication plan and willingness and ability to implement the actions hands-on
Knowledge of marketing tools
About you

Language skills
You have professional proficiency in English in both writing and speaking • Any other language (particularly French or Dutch) is a plus
Degree
You are enrolled in University/Higher education studies and this internship is part of your curriculum.
OR: Bachelor/Master in Event Management/Project Management/ Communication

Candidates that enter the selection procedure are invited for a maximum of 2 talks (interviews - the second one ‘on-site’ in Brussels). At that moment, you get the possibility to speak to our colleagues to get a feeling about the company culture.
The entire procedure should be finalised in max 4 weeks’ time between initial contact and confirmation.
